Mothers are the light of the world.
They shine in all they do.
Not only are they here for me,
But they're also here for you.
They care for us. They love us.
They correct us when we're wrong.
And when we miss a step, they
Put us back where we belong.
And when they're in God,
They nourish like the man above.
No, nothing can compare
To a saved mother's love.

Mother's cardigan.
My mother's cardigan
Still hangs on the back of her chair,
A fluffy pink confection
Of kitten-soft mohair,
Take me back
Back to a time
Life was different
Things were simple
Surrounded by love
And adoration for each other
We stuck close
And
The Morning Light
There's a place in the morning light,
a moment...there just for awhile,
when the newness of the day shines
Mother
I left behind what created me,
She who held me in her arms
And whispered to me as a bairn.
I left behind what made me

Bursting the pyramid into pepper, tonight's meal
