Survivor has always been a fun television show to watch. It clearly is a game about personal relationships, and figuring out how to make alliances to stay in the game. It also is a show that is difficult to win if you are honorable and open with the others on the team.

It has silly challenges that are usually entertaining to watch (they could do without balancing on poles for hours on end). It is fun to watch people who have no survival skills trying to figure out how to make a fire.

It has also been a show in which the producers are willing to take some risks to mix things up, such as the tribes being divided by race or into "rich vs. poor" camps.

While boot picks are easy to find on the Internet, there is a great deal of satisfaction for those who watch and try to figure out who will be leaving. The producers are great at misdirection!

This is not an intelligent show and it is not going to enrich your life, but it can be a lot of fun.
