Lilacs
Poetry in its truest forms
with love in bloom
and true love growing wild
Will my heart be open to the wealth and beauty of the lilac
or will my heart shut it down in order to stay on the ground.
Can a heart be broken with colors like lilac
or Can a heart be one with the colors of the rainbow.
The colors run more true and other colors seem to make you blue.

Others like Red, you feel dead,
Colors like green make you eat,
and colors like yellow, make you feel like there is a bright tomorrow.
The colors of the rainbow, even tho lilac isn't one of them,
makes think that lilac is the best of them all,
creating a way for us to fall
on a bed of flowers so soft and so sweet
allowing us to fall asleep.
