Problems with religion and hypocrisy

PROBLEMS WITH RELIGION AND HYPOCRISY: Problem with religion IS hypocrisy. Since I was fourteen years old, I've been reading the Bible. After being totally disappointed by religious teachings in first grade of Catholic school, I was a non believer. Nothing about it made any sense to me. But I had an inquiring mind and many of my questions about life were not answered. That is when I decided to give the notion of God another chance. Having been deceived by everyone in my life, most of all by my own parents; I could trust no one. Maybe that was a good thing. I would have to see for myself from the Bible.

As an adult I began to approach every religious group trying to find one that was true to the Bible. I found none. Some were worst than others but everyone had somethings to which they clung to (out of context) and other things they just invented. The worst is 'Catholic'. Through my research I found out why. The first pope, who came between 300 to 400 years after Jesus Christ, was a roman emperor. They were the first religion to use the name of God in vain to conquer kingdoms and kill those who would not follow. They only used God to put fear in the hearts of people as they are still doing. Much of what they practice and preach is contrary to the word of God so clearly spoken to us through Jesus.

The problem with religions is that they are institutions created primarily to make money. Furthermore, they have studied the Bible and made deductions and turned it into a doctrine. No matter how meticulous and advance their work might have been, it cannot be flawless. The Bible is alive. No one can completely understand it before it is time. It's a living book and it was made to be revealed as history unfolds. Every day in the past forty years of my life, I read something that I comprehend more deeply. It is not to say that one who follows a religion is wrong. Neither do I think that I am totally right. Most people need to follow a group. It is better to have some knowledge of the Bible than to have none but do read for yourself and not just a paragraph but the whole context. For me , it has become my intimacy with God. God knows each and every heart; He will call His people when the time is right as only He knows and they will come from all Nations in every Conner of the world.

Do beware of religions who say that they are the only good one...
