You move through my thoughts like a ghost,
I can barely see or hear you, but I know you're there.
Whispering words that gently touch my soul,
Letting me know that you still care.
Along the path I walk, you guide me true,
Keeping me straight when I wander astray.
Though at times you seem to struggle to find me,
It was I who got lost along the way.
If ever I needed you, you were always so close,
A friend like you, there was none other,
And I will never seek to ever replace you,
You've been there for me, closer than a brother.
You speak to me now, so plainly, so clearly,
So firmly, I can do no more but simply obey.
You've shown me how things can be so much better
If only I choose to follow your way.
Here I am Lord, I hide from you never again.
I understand now where you need me to be,
And now I reach for you with arms wide open,
I'm ready to take in all that you want me to see.

An innocent now, with all memories erased
You move through my thoughts like a ghost,
I can barely see or hear you, but I know you're there.
Whispering words that

I closed the door behind me
And entered into my world
You sat at the corner Waiting for
