Waking Morning
My alarm clock goes off
Tired but force myself out of bed
My head feels tired and unrested
Stagger to fix my breakfast
The light is bright in my sleepy eyes
But I watch TV and eat my food
Preparing to go to work it;s a new day
Maybe another way to make it through
Working over-time lately and I'm bushed
Waiting for a vacation from the hustle
Just a little time off from my waking morning.
