Christmas is a magical time in Baltimore, and a visit to see Santa Clause can even make Scrooge joyus during the holiday season. Santa loves to visit all of the children (and adults too), and he will be making many stops in Baltimore to show his love. There are many places to see Ole' Saint Nick while he is in town.
Of course the most obvious place to visit Santa is at the malls! Owings Mills Mall will have Santa ready for the crowds until Christmas Eve. He will be there during regular mall hours, with a one hour lunch break, of course. Santa will take holiday lists and check them twice, and offer a sweet treat to everyone who visits. Professional photo packages are available for purchase, however no personal cameras are allowed. Visit the mall's web site for information on hours of operation and Santa visits.

If you would rather avoid the traffic and holiday crowds gathered at the mall, there are still plenty of other visits with Santa to be had! The Holiday Festival of Trains is one such event, where kids and kids at heart can enjoy a train ride with Santa! During the ride Santa will offer wonderful holiday stories, and photos with the kids! www.borail.com is the web site to visit for information on dates and times for rides with Santa, as well as to get more information on the event.
Santa's Wonderland takes place at Bass Pro Shops, and is one of the best events in the area! it is free for all, and free 4x6 photos with Santa are given to all kids who are ready to give him their list. There is also many other fun things to do at Santa's Wonderland, including games, crafts, and toys! Kids and parents will all enjoy the fun waiting for them at Santa's Wonderland! Visit www.bassproshops.com for more information on this event.
The Baltimore Zoo also welcomes Santa Claus in the Jones Falls Zepher Train Station and Mansion House Porch, where he will pose for photos, have breakfast with guests, and participate in fun holiday arts and crafts. Santa is available until December 19th at various dates and hours. There is a fee for the event. Find pricing information on the web site at www.baltimorezoo.org.
