My little girl inside, she tries so hard
to find a language on the message from her heart
She met a wall and pushed it back down
thoughout the years, it created her frown
She's struggling with this foriegn language inside
maybe in time her words will arise
she'll dance and sing, to everyone's surprise
Dissapointed with her mama, who held her wall
she cried and pleaded, each time another fall
Picking herself up she tries to play
Its incredibly tough, not knowing what to say
One day she'll speak and cry tears from back then
with the hope of it saving her, she'll learn to pretend
pretend to her mama she's forgiven her trials
But deep down she knows
she could have prevented her cries
Oh this conflict inside, confusing for a child
All she wanted was to love and to smile

Mother's cardigan.
My mother's cardigan
Still hangs on the back of her chair,
A fluffy pink confection
Of kitten-soft mohair,
Take me back
Back to a time
Life was different
Things were simple
Surrounded by love
And adoration for each other
We stuck close
And
The Morning Light
There's a place in the morning light,
a moment...there just for awhile,
when the newness of the day shines
Mother
I left behind what created me,
She who held me in her arms
And whispered to me as a bairn.
I left behind what made me

My Mother a Class Act
Dinner setting, quite frankly I never seen so many
Bursting the pyramid into pepper, tonight's meal
