Stocking stuffers can either be the hardest thing to find, or the easiest way to score quick, low-cost "points." Coffee lovers make your life as a stocking stuffer easy. Coffee-lovers enjoy anything about coffee - the smell, the ambience, the look, the feel - as well as anything that might go well with coffee. Below are several gifts you can get your coffee lover, rated by cost to you.
GOURMET COFFEE TASTER PACKETS ($-$$$)
There are all kinds of “single serving” gourmet coffee packets available in stores ranging from the Dollar Tree to Macys. Purchase a few small packs in a variety of flavors to show your coffee-lover that you care. Some specialty coffees, like Hawaiian Kona, Jamaica Blue Mountain, and Kopi Luwak can cost over $30 to $300 dollars. Shop with care.
CHOCOLATE ($-$$)
Chocolate tastes great with coffee. Get squares of chocoate to go with the coffee, or even get chocolate-covered coffee beans for a tasty jolt of caffienation.
BISCOTTI AND OTHER TASTY DIPPING CAKES ($-$$)
A package or two of your coffee-lover’s favorite biscotti will show him or her that you care. You can find biscotti at a coffee shop, or save money by going to a discount store. Biscotti come in all sorts of flavors, but beware if your coffee-lover has a nut allergy. You can also find coffee “straws” that are often filled with chocolate or nutella sold in small round tins. Look around. If something looks like it doesn’t dissolve easily and is dipped in chocolate, it will probably work well with coffee.
FLAVORED SYRUPS ($$)
Grab a small bottle of coffe syrup for your coffee-lover. Get his or her favorite flavor, or try a seasonal flavor. You can find syrups at coffee stores, online, and at discount stores.
MILK-FROTHER WAND ($$)
If your coffee-lover enjoys lattes but cannot afford an espresso machine, a milk-frothing wand can help them achieve the same effect without the expense. These wands are best shopped for online, as prices vary widely.
TRAVEL MUG ($$)
Look for a coffee travel mug with a theme your coffee-lover likes, or perhaps get a coffee mug that allows you to insert your own design. You can create a collage, print it off, insert it in the mug, and Viola! Perfect Christmas memories to last all year. You can then update the collage as a present later down the road for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day, etc. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
RE-USABLE COFFEE SLEEVE ($-$$)
Several stores now sell re-usable coffee sleeves. This gift fits in a stocking easily, and tells your coffee-lover that you care about him or her not burning a hand, and the environment. Two birds with one stone.
COFFEE STORE GIFT CARD ($-$$)
Get your coffee-lover a gift card to his or her favorite coffee store. They will love you forever, and it’s a gift that suits every budget.
Little gifts can go a long way to tell someone that you care. There are plenty of coffee-related gifts for you to fill your coffee-lover’s stocking this Christmas, so get out there and shop around for the perfect gift at the perfect price.
