PHILPOT
Him and my husband
Talked for hours about the bible
I’m talking 24 hours
On and on they would go
About the word of god you know
This was my husband brother/friend
I know he loved him deep within
Philpot heart cracked opened wide
When my husband died
I know they were close
My husband was almost like his son
Even though they fought like cats and dogs
In front of everyone
But they could not stay apart too long
Because the next or same day
It was like nothing had happen anyway
I know Philpot loved him too
He tried to worn him before he went to the streets
But my husband was blind and could not see
I know Philpot knew him like a book
My husband was so hooked
To the streets
We all tried to talk to him
So he can be free
But now it will never be
