Buying gifts for your teenage girl might seem like a daunting task, but it really isn't as difficult as you might think. Here are some suggestions to consider when thinking about what to buy:
1. Find out what she likes -
Does your teen love going out with her friends to the movies? Find out what her favorite movie is. If she doesn't already own it, then buy it for her. What's her favorite television show? Get her a season of it on DVD as a present. Is her favorite singer going on a concert tour? If so, get her tickets. Finding out what she is most interested in is your best, and most practical, option. If you know what she likes and then get her something related to it, then it follows logically that you'll end up getting her something that she really loves.
2. Clothes -
This option can be a little trickier. Teenage girls can be very picky about the clothes they wear, because heaven forbid they wear something that their peers deem socially unacceptable. If you want to get her clothes, then you have to make sure you get her clothes that are not only her size, but from a store that she shops at. Most teenage girls love buying and receiving new clothes. So if you know her style, then this is a good gift option. If you are unsure of her style, then consider getting her something else.
3. Jewelry -
Just like clothes, jewelry can also be a bit tricky. Pearl necklaces, for example, are not exactly "in" according to teenage girls. Either go to her favorite store and get her jewelry from there, or get her a 14-karat gold bracelet. *14-karat gold, however expensive, never goes out of style, and teenage girls generally love jewelry.
4. Ipod/mp3 player -
This is not just a good gift option for teenage girls, mostly all teenagers love getting the latest electrical gadget. Not only that, but music is a universal love. If your teenager already has an ipod, then you can get her the newest kind on the market. They are always upgrading them.
5. Makeup kit -
It is possible that none of the other options listed above were to your liking. Finding out what she likes? Nope, you don't want to have to bother to find out. Getting her clothes? No way, you're afraid she'll hate whatever you pick out. Jewelry? Not happening, 14-karat gold is way too expensive. Ipod? Forget it! That's also too pricey!
Now you're in luck. No matter what her style, mostly all teenage girls love exploring with makeup. Get her a makeup kit. It's not too expensive and she'll love it. The makeup
