Black Sheep....Bah!
What is dysfunctional? In the eyes of a normal human being it defies, what does not function properly. So what is normal? I'll tell you,! It is whatever guides us to breathe & live out another day. Who can judge our life, better than ourselves. We know what moves us, we CAN control what we do. Too often we lower our standards, so that we have failure to fall back on. STOP, now before we end up, not " breaking the cycle of a dysfunctional family " , but creating another loophole in it. I grew up in a family so large, I hardly know all of us. I know it only as an extention of me. When I shine, I reflect those around me. When I sink, I' am left to my own devices.Things I learned as normal, growing up. Does that make me? Never, I know better and, I 'am proud to say that, I have re-learned things I grew up thinking were ok. I have control of what I do, what I say, how I act. If MY home is broken, well at least I broke it. Confusing, or cop out? You tell me!
