And the things you do
I don't have to doubt
'Cuz I know they're true.
You're the realest person
I know on earth.
I'm glad I've known you
Every since my birth.
You tease me a lot
Though I know you're sincere.
But I know that you love me
'Cuz you're always here...

Knew one day it'd come true.

You stir:
lips stretch into a smile;
throat vibrates in harmonious laughter.
I watch
listen;
lean forward-
Surely a father should love you,
be there just like your mum.
Not do it out of hatred,
or turn his back and run.
