When you want to phone a psychic it can sound easy.  The majority of people assume that all psychics are the same,  with equal abilities and genuineness and simply choose the cheapest.  But this is the biggest mistake they can make.  I worked as a clairvoyant and psychic for many years and used to cringe whenever the phone rang and someone said to me  "hi.  how much is it?"    It never occurred to most of these people that maybe the reading that they were asking about was not worth having.  They wanted to ring around all the clairvoyants, find out all of the prices, and then choose the cheapest.  But why would the very best one also be the cheapest one?

Having been in that business for a long time - and having employed a lot of clairvoyants to work for me under me - I know for a fact that there are a lot of people around who claim to be clairvoyant when they are not. Some of them genuinely like to believe they are, they are not liars,  they are dreamers.  it makes them feel important and fills their time.  But that does not mean that they can give helpful or accurate readings.  Whenever I advertised for staff approximately 90% of those that applied to me for work were not  accurate clairvoyant!  I can advise you of a web site where you will get a great phone reading by a psychic,  webclairvoyant.com. I get emails every day from people asking me to recommend them to somewhere now that I am retired, and this is the one I tell them to go to.

Then you have the ones who want to do it because they are housebound and lonely and it makes them feel better about themselves. They think if they tell you bits and bobs about your past or about your personality that proves they give good readings.  it does not, because it is possible to work out a person's character quite well without being psychic at all. And some clairvoyants are very good on past and no good at future.   There are also those who are clairvoyant but who are no good at psychology or gauging how to speak to people,  so say everything all jumbled or emphasise the wrong things,  or claim it is a prediction when it may be advice.

A good phone psychic has to have a good manner with people, be able to think quick, be sympathetic,  honest, a good listener AND a properly developed clairvoyant.  To find all of these in one person is not easy!   Unfortunately, some people are so desperate to hear some good news they fall for the mistake of going to anyone who tells them what they want to hear,  and push aside that it is probably not true.
