Satan tempts each and everyone simply because he can. His evil machinations date back to the Garden of Eden and they will continue until the Day God declares Judgment.  It was his jealousy of God and his resistance to God's command that got him tossed out of heaven. Ever since, he has roamed the earth and has wreaked hovac on much of earth. He uses many disguises to lure humans to do bad things. People know him by many names, such as

the devil, the angel of light and the accuser,etc. but no matter what you call him he is still the same. It only takes a moment for Satin to enter one's life and ruin it for all time unless he or she has the presence of mind to ask God to deliver them.

Use God's tools to fight satan

What are God’s tools? His word, which are found in His statutes, precepts and commandments. If people learn them, internalize them, and live them they will be both saved and safe. Satan torments people because they either do not know or fail to exercise the power vested in them by Jesus through the Holy Spirit. The kingdom of God is Power  to which every born again Christian has access.

Christians must come to terms with Satan's role here on earth - he is a real power and not the creation of some overly imaginative mind.  As a matter of fact, it is that mindset that allows Satan entry into one's life to do the greatest amount of destruction. Ephesians 6:12  speaks to the person of faith and tells him or her what they must do to withstand Satan's wiles. There is no other way to defeat him.

The earth is satan’s realm and will be until Jesus returns. Christian must do as Apostle Paul avered, they must renew and transform themselves and be above the wickedness of the secular world. They must know when they fight and war with each other it is because of  satan and not God.  Satan is at the helm and he steers all earthly discord because he is the master of chaos and confusion. He is your enemy. But, as usual God provides a way out, but to taste His goodness and to walk in His righteousness require obedience.  One of the requirements is found in II Timothy 2:15:  “study to show yourselves approved....”  To avoid satan traps, you cannot simply ask God to remove him from your life and continue doing the
