The EdenPURE Quartz Infrared Portable Heater model A4136 is a great primary or supplementary heat source to get you through the winter. Being quite poor, I cannot afford to heat my entire house and usually confine myself to one or two rooms during the coldest months. The EdenPURE keeps me warm when I need it.

Most electric heaters are inefficient and only warm a small area around the heater, forcing you to huddle close like with a sweetheart. EdenPURE warms the room evenly and immediately. It blows a robust current across the room and it gets warm as soon as you turn it on.

The manufacturer claims that the EdenPURE heats up to 1000 square feet. Although I do not use it to heat large areas, I believe the manufacturer’s claim to be true, especially if you own a small, well-insulated home. You might be able to heat larger homes using multiple units.

EdenPURE emits clean and odorless air. For maximum efficiency, you should change the filter regularly, which is an easy task. Simply unsnap the filter, wash it in warm water, let it dry and snap it back on.

The EdenPURE Quartz Infrared Portable Heater model A4136 sits on four wheels, making it portable. The unit is light (about 35 lbs.) and can easily be carried if necessary. It is wide, low to the floor and hard to tip over. Amazingly, there are no hot surfaces and therefore no danger for children or pets to burn themselves. EdenPURE is very convenient because it has a thermostat and remote control.

I cannot attest to EdenPURE’s longevity because I have only owned it for about a year. However, I used it all last winter without any malfunctions. It comes with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Obviously, EdenPURE saves me money on my electric bill because it sufficiently heats the one or two rooms I reside in. I suspect that it could save money even for folks who use it to heat larger areas because it is very powerful and efficient for its size.

The one downfall for owning this heater is its price. I have seen it listed from $300 to $400. However, EdenPURE will pay for itself in the long run by saving on energy costs.

The EdenPURE Quartz Infrared Portable Heater model A4136 is a great bargain. The purchase price is a bit steep, but well worth the investment in dependable heat and reduced energy bills.
