Are Consoles Expensive?

Yes and for a good reason too; walk into a EB games and you can get a Wi for about 200 dollars which doesn't include any games. If you go to that same store and browse the shelves you are sure to find a xbox 360 bundle kicking around that includes the dance games for just 249 dollars.  Xbox360 also doesn't limit itself to a motion controller based around cartoon games. Nevermind the controller because everything is done with cameras without the use of a controller. Is it still expensive? Yes, but less so. But if you want to really save money  why don't you just drain another 50 dollars or so on each game.

Getting a new windows 7 computer might be better worth your while with access to internet games such as Grand Fantasia, Domo online from Aeria Games and video games from the company Gpotato. What this does, is eliminate the need of buying one time use games, such as shooters like red redemption or Dead Or Alive. And I'm sorry Wi, but what were you thinking with Red Steel or Mario Tennis I get a few cheap laughs out of slashing like a samurai until I can do the motions in my sleep, nearly knocking over all the lamps in the room at a price of nearly 65 dollars when it first came out. Or for that matter, am I a five year old with Mario Tennis the worst remake of the N64 game ever at 40 dollars when it was brand new you whip your hand around like a forearm shot to listen to squeaky voices and childish winning phrases like when Mario wins "whoopee".

Also lets take a look at all the battery use your guitar hero and controllers go through. You will probably spend an extra 30 bucks on batteries a month just to keep the games running for your amusement. Then unless you have a plug in charger you will have to buy a special charger for the batteries. The one that plugs into your controller goes for 15-22 dollars so have fun with that too.

Point is just save yourself the time and hassle when you could be playing Starcraft 2, on your brand new computer for slightly more at first, because of the laptop purchase, but once you get internet, most of the free online RPGS  are more than half decent. You won't be missing much at all.
