Pay attention to these signs and behaviors that might tell you if you're about to be fired from your job.

If you have missed 7-10 extra mondays that were not long weekend statutory holidays throughout the year.....citing the same excuse for AdSense - whoops, I meant, ABSENCE every time...especially on the Mondays that you agreed to work for pay-and-a-half and cover your supervisor's shift...

.....You're about to be fired.

If your job tasks include computer work and the 'repair' crew has been at your desk a dozen times in the last 5months - repeatedly telling you NOT TO CHANGE THE SECURITY SETTINGS but you have done so as soon as the computer tech-crew left, anyway (In order to accomodate your personal messenger to be able to talk to your friends)...

.....You're about to be fired.

If you have been LATE more mornings than you've been ON TIME - especially if you are the designated early morning COFFEE-Delivery person...

.....You're about to be fired!

If you constantly challenge the boss - especially during public promotional occasions and your boss has told you before to take matters up privately but you still won't listen...

.....You're about to be fired!

If you have showed up for work in the morning still in the same clothes from the day before...and this has happened more than 4 times in the past month...

If you run out at lunchtime to move your car - to your supervisor's parking spot for the afternoon because USUALLY he/she runs business errands in the afternoon...but lately your supervisor has NOT BEEN running errands as per YOUR PARKING SCHEDULE...

.....You're about to be fired!

If you screwed up and ordered bulk office supplies from the company with the colourful clown and crown logo that wasn't listed with the BBB - just because you'd get a box of Bozo erasers as a BONUS for ordering with this new and colourful company...

.....You're about to be fired!

If you got drunk at the last company function, did comedy impressions of your boss for 3 hours while wearing a lampshade on your head - and this is the 3rd company function this year that you've used the same joke material...

.....You're about to be fired!

If you got caught napping at your desk anytime in the past month - and you work for a security outfit - on the DAY SHIFT...

.....You're about to be fired!

If you regularly leave half an hour early from work in order to avoid rush hour traffic - and have been doing so for at least 6 weeks - even though company emails have been sent to all employees for the past 3 weeks that say "The company has noticed that several workers appear to be leaving their posts early to avoid rush hour traffic. This is not acceptable and is grounds for your employment termination WITHOUT NOTICE." Your time with the company is quickly drawing to a close and...

.....You're about to be fired!

If this sounds like YOU...perhaps you need a 'work-at-home' job where you can sit in your underwear all day, tweak your computer settings 'til the Tucows come home, sleep in until noon each day, watch infomercials about how you can THINK your way to riches and - of course - you can brew your own double-strong coffee, hoarding every last 'good to the last drop' to yourself!

If this is you - it's NOT a good idea to go in to work today.
