The New IPod Touch 4th Generation is very similar to that of an IPhone 4G. A few of the features included in the new IPod Touch are rear and forward facing cameras with 3.5 inch retina display, A High Definition LED Screen, face-time support with front camera, A4 processor and a built-in microphone. Interesting features found on a standard IPod Touch that are also found on the New IPod Touch  include a G4touch screen, accelerometer (senses angle of IPod), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Safari Internet browser, and ITunes media. E-books, Audio Books, Music, Videos, Movies, and apps can all be found in ITunes Media.

This IPod model comes in 8 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB versions.  The 1GHz A4 Processor makes the iPod Touch 4th Generation very fast, but there's not that much of a difference in its speed compared to the iPod Touch 3rd Generation. It’s Web Browser is lightning fast and the screen takes only a few seconds to rotate into landscape or portrait mode. A big difference between this and the last iPod Touch models, there is no delay when starting up different applications. Due to the fact the iPod Touch 4G only has 256MB RAM, running several applications at once will slow the system down.

When the IPod Touch 4th Generation is at full charge you are able to enjoy about 32 hours worth of RAM-Hungry web browsing over a high speed Wi-Fi internet connection while also listening to music and/or playing videos. It's quite a pleasure being able to take this unit to the gym or any other place and not having to worry about bringing the adapter to charge the unit.

Just like its companion the IPhone 4, the IPod Touch  is a multimedia powerhouse. The music is crystal clear and loud enough with headphones while the videos play fluidly. It is important to note that the iPod touch 4th Generation now has a dedicated speaker that's not inside the adapter port. For a unit as thin as it is, the sound is amazing, even when not compared to other mp3 players.

A lot of people are upset that the camera on the back only takes .7MP pictures; about as much quality as the Nintendo DSi’s. This is good enough for casual shots to send through email or post online, but you aren't going to be printing any of these out. The camera also shoots 720p HD videos that are good, but not great or HD. The quality of the video camera on the IPhone 4 is a lot better.
