There are five weeks left in the NFL season and teams are beginning to solidify their positions for a push to the NFL playoffs. Here is a current look at all 32 teams to see where they rank in the big picture with the 2010 NFL Rankings for Week 13.
1. Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons earned a hard fought win over the Packers and showed they are the class of the NFC. If they win home field in the playoffs, this team will be the odds on favorite for a trip to the Super Bowl.
2. New England Patriots
Despite the fact that it was the Detroit Lions, the Patriots showed on Thanksgiving Day that there is offense is even better without troubled wide receiver Randy Moss. They are tied for the lead in the AFC East, one of the most underrated divisions in the NFL.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers
Even though the Steelers needed overtime to earn a win over the Bills, the team showed they still have what it takes to win. If they could find a balanced offense, this could be the best team in the NFL thanks to their dominating defense.
4. Green Bay Packers
Despite the loss to the Falcons, the Packers showed they still have one of the best teams in the NFC. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is one of the best in the game and could carry this team to a Super Bowl berth.
5. Chicago Bears
While the Bears have a questionable record with wins over easy teams, their latest one over the Eagles was impressive. The offensive line is doing their job of protecting Jay Cutler and the defense is downright impressive.
6. New Orleans Saints
The Saints have quietly crept back into the picture and have entrenched themselves as one of the top four teams in the NFC> Drew Brees has looked solid in his last four games and appears to have the offense moving in the right direction.
7. Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens earned a hard fought win over the Buccaneers right before they take on their rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers. If the Ravens can get running back Ray Rice to find the end zone more, this can be a real dangerous team.
8. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles suffered a minor setback in their loss to the Bears. Now they share the NFC East lead with the Giants and will need to use their last three divisional games to secure another title and a trip to the NFL playoffs.
9. New York Jets
The Jets Thanksgiving Day win helped keep them at the top of the AFC East. Now they will need to find a way to continue to build Mark Sanchez’s confidence to help make sure they have another deep playoff run.
10. Kansas City Chiefs
