Americans are demanding people. We want to be protected against terrorism. We don’t want our protection to inconvenience us in any way possible. After 9/11 we all found out how far terrorists will go kill Americans. Terrorists came to our airports and they high jacked our planes. Since 9/11 there have been more attempts. Terrorists have attempted to go on our aircraft with bombs, knives and things that are just unimaginable to kill Americans.
The TSA have a difficult job. The TSA must protect all Americans that board aircraft. The employees of the TSA must prevent any terrorist from boarding our planes with anything that can be used as a weapon. This could be a easy job, if it weren’t for Americans. We want protection, yet we don’t want to stand in long lines. We don’t want to have ID on us. We don’t want to be questioned. We don’t want to be touched. We don't want to be scanned. We don’t want to take off our shoes. We just want the TSA to look at each one of us and know for a fact who is a terrorist and who isn’t one.
Are we kidding? The TSA has put procedures in place to protect us. Yet we don’t want to be inconvenienced. As a flier if I am boarding a plane and must strip naked, I will happily strip. I am willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that no one is on the plane with ulterior motives that involve my death. We need to be more flexible. We need to stop looking at what we don’t want to do and start looking at the end result. Pat downs and body scans will prevent terrorists.
If we all complain maybe the body scans and pat downs will stop. Once this procedure stops, how will we prevent terrorists from getting on our planes with bombs? We can’t say that if you look this way, you’ll bet a body scan and pat down, but if you look like the average white American your safe to go through.
Terrorists hate us. They are plotting and planning on ways to board our aircraft with bombs. They have proved they will board with explosives in their shoes. They will board with explosives in their buttocks. They are sitting and watching us we make it easier to kill us. They don’t want the body scans and pat downs either. Luckily they have us to get rid of these procedures.
Do we prefer not to be touched or do we prefer to take our chances with the highjackers. The choice is ours America.
