Avoid men who are only interested in that 1 thing. Those types of guys are not relationship material, and if you do get in a relationship with them, there's a good chance they will cheat on you. Concentrate more on making friends and perhaps it will lead to something from there.

Take pride in yourself. Continue to better yourself all the time, mentally, physically, and spiritually. The more you learn and achieve, the more attractive you will be to men (and you'll find better quality men too).

Be upfront about what you think will turn a guy off. If you're a single mom, or a high school drop out, or are unemployed, whatever. Don't be ashamed of who you are, just tell him upfront so he can make a choice. If he'd rather not date you after you've told him, then at least you didn't waste any time.

Most of all...put yourself out there. Get involved. Join a club or organization where you have a chance of meeting new people. Go to church, take a class, get a job.......these are all ways to meet guys. The more you meet, the better chance you have of finding the right one.
