Songs: Leaving a relationship

I don’t get why you

Feel the need to bring me down

With you

In a different place,

I’m tryna do big things now

But you

Can’t see beyond your grim perspective

That’s why mirrors are reflective

Take some time to collect yourself

And leave me be

I know you’ve got issues

But why make some with me?

Happiness is free

Why don’t you go and get it?

Just leave me be

I did nothing to you

You may not like me but

Need to let me be

I get tired of folks

I turn off my instant chat

No use

They haunt me, anyways

Those who talk behind me back

Cut loose

For that, I’ve no grace or patience

It may hurt but let’s just face it

I’m no girl who’ll be complacent

So leave me be

I know you’ve got issues

But why make some with me?

Happiness is free

Why don’t you go and get it?

Just leave me be

I did nothing to you

You may not like me but

Need to let me be
