Forbidden Fruit
My body was like a stiffened scared cat’s
With an arched back
As I thought about the confrontation
With the 6 Ft. Tall man from my past
Golden bronzed skin as though it was
Hand painted by World renowned artisans
Deeply in thought with dreamy glassy eyes
Thinking of all the long conversations we
Had for months from our Ignited Heated Flames
To cooking and Politics
Damn! Why did I still love this him?
I told myself “Never love again”
To do so equals No checkmate, No win
Was it his small traces of sensitivity?
Maybe it was the cute grin he displayed
While his eyes silently summoned me
To come inside his soul
This forbidden fruit was juicy and
Tantalizing to the senses
When I walked through the gateway
That had been previously boarded
Our souls locked and made the sweetest love
I sat in his golden stool where his feelings lived
Here laid his secrets/forbidden fruit
Of all his heart wrenching pain
He’d endured through the years
Revelations of his triumphs along with his fears
I hadn’t felt this safe in years
Once again I became as confident
As any alluring sex kitten
It was also etched in his voice
That he was also hurting
From our separation
I would have my moment to reach out
My hand in comfort to him
It wouldn’t happen overnight
But I knew this man from my past would
Eventionally once again become mine
And I would become his
What I thought would never be
God had somehow made happen
I was free once again to Love
I relieved the guards that were dispersed
Around my heart of their duty
This love had endured hardships
I still love him and always will
The bonding of our hearts together
Had been permanently and meticously sealed
Forever
Love never dies but is bold and survives

The one love that will last forever,
That kind of love that will never die
Is, by no doubt, love itself

Everlasting Love
Until death do us not part
Deeper than the sea
Higher than the sky
Warmer than the Sun
Brighter than the
Feel it deep within
without congruence of hate
meshed like a spider’s web
in a dedication of craftsmanship.
