Poetry: Faces

by Kathleen Delicato

Created on: November 30, 2010

FACES

I like to watch their faces,

With myriad expressions.

I try to guess what their lives are,

With their attitude's impressions.

I want to see into their hearts, to uncover

The masks they always wear.

It's in the depths of the eyes

That I see their souls bared.
