That is the secret, when you are a real friend 1st, you know what kind of person you are dealing with. You know that they are and were, there when you needed them. You got to know one another in a nicer way then dating then getting into a relationship.
One reason there are so many break-ups is because they could not be friends. A lover is good but a friend is better. And if you have a lot in common with that person it gets even better.
One of my longest relationship was with my real female friend. She would try and hook me up with other women but when they dogged me out, she was right there for me. And when she thought she had a good man,but he wasn't then I was there for her.
One night we clicked....Meaning we kissed on a dare and loved it. The way we saw it was I know who you are and what you have done. I know your heart and you know mine. We lasted for 5 years, and would have still been together ....But she had to move out of state. And even still we keep in contact with one another. I miss her and she misses me.... THE PERFECT MATE..... A GREAT FRIEND!
