Christmas is a time for showing those close to you just how much you care. And nothing says it better than a homemade personalized gift. Christmas mug gifts can be personalized in so many ways , they make great gifts for anyone from family members and close friends to the mail carrier or your child's teacher.
The golfer: Try looking at golf shops for a golf themed mug to start with. If you are unable to find a golf themed mug you might want to go with a plain white or green mug or one personalized with the recipients name on it. Start by shredding some green tissue paper to fill the bottom of the mug with. Then fill the mug with golf tee's and a couple golf balls.You might even want to include a season pass to his or hers favorite golf range. Finish the mug by wrapping a bow around the top of the mug or even on the handle.
The bookworm : Creating a Christmas gift mug for someone that loves to read can be a ton of fun! Start with a book themed mug these can be found at most book stores. If you cant find one you can use a plain mug or one personalized with the recipients name on it. Start by filling the bottom of the mug with shredded tissue paper or even newspaper for an added readers touch. Fill the mug with a small novel and bookmark if you have room try to tuck in a couple scented candles. Why not tuck in a gift card to the recipients favorite bookstore. Tie a bow around the top or handle of the mug to add the finishing touch.
The Teacher: For a teachers Christmas gift mug it's important to include both items he or she might use at school and items to help he or she relax after work. Start but purchasing a nice mug maybe one with an apple or one that says teacher. One personalized with the recipients name will add a nice touch, Start by filling the bottom of the mug with shredded tissue paper a nice red and green mix will add a nice holiday touch. Start by adding a gift card to a nice restaurant or to a movie theater.Tape the gift card along the inside of the mug to save space. Finish by filling the mug with erasers and pencils you might even add a few packets of flavored teas or gourmet hot cocoa's. Finish the mug by adding a bow to the handle.
The movie lover : Start with a nice solid color mug or one with a movie theme. Fill the bottom of the mug with unpopped pop corn.Tape a gift card to the recipients favorite movie theater or DVD store to the inside of the mug . Another idea would be to add a subscription to netflix . Finish by filling the mug with movie theater candy or 3D glasses. Tie a bow around the top of the mug for a nice touch.
The mail carrier : Start with a nice solid color mug. Fill the bottom with shredded tissue paper red and green add a nice Christmas touch. In the mug include a nice pair of warm gloves. A gift card to a local restaurant or store will add a nice holiday touch to the mug. Include a thank you note for their service that year. Finish by adding a nice bow to the handle.
The co- worker : Start with a mug that is personalized with the recipients name. Fill the bottom of the mug with red or green shredded tissue paper. In the mug you will want to include item's that will be fun for the recipient and also help them relax after a long day. Include gourmet cocoa's or flavored tea's. A couple scented candles will add a relaxing touch. Finish the mug with a gift card to a nice restaurant or cross word puzzle book. Tie a bow around the top or handle of the mug.
