An art, a game, an impulse and an excitement – dating is all that. Many people remain unfamiliar with this delicate mechanism that enables two people to get to know each other and to decide on the future of their connection.
So many shy daters wish that a “Dating for Dummies” book will make it all obvious, structured and easy.
Can dating really be explained in simple terms? Even if the steps of the process are described in detail, can anyone learn to apply them to achieve romantic life success?
One thing is certain – dating should be fun and exciting. In order to be effective, it should have no connection to fear and uneasiness. Learning how to relax and let go of insecurities is of uttermost importance for successful dating.
~ How to get a date ~
Whether you are a girl or a boy, getting a date can be a real challenge. It might be impossible to overcome all personal insecurities that stand in the way of this exciting new episode.
Whenever you feel the desire to approach someone, remember the fact that even the most confident and sexy person has insecurities. All of us are controlled by one fear or another.
Even if someone rejects you, try to stay positive. As you gain more experience at proposing and flirting, you will be able to get a date. Staying passive is the worst option. If you want something to happen to you, learn how to take control of the situation.
For a quick and easy start, try approaching strangers. Demonstrate no romantic interest. Ask a question or introduce yourself to the person. The saying that practice makes perfect is valid when it comes to dating, as well.
The only way to overcome your fears is facing them. The beginning will be difficult but you will soon feel more confident and certain in your own skills.
~ Overcoming shyness and introversion ~
To have a wonderful date, you need to let go of shyness and introversion.
Learn how to perceive your encounter with somebody as an exciting opportunity rather than a test. If you need to, boost your self-confidence through the purchase of new clothing and makeup. Get yourself a new haircut before the big event. Do whatever it takes to make yourself feel good.
Be yourself and feel good about yourself. Enjoy the date. Nobody is pressuring you. Have fun and experiment. You are meeting somebody new and this opportunity is a wonderful one.
~Dating etiquette ~
Dating has its dos and don’ts that you should learn in order to have fun and to make the other person feel good.
Arrive on time.
