Why people love to hate Sarah Palin

Hate is a strong emotion based on negative opinions, and since opinions don’t always have a lot to do with the truth, hate tends to be a useless emotion that does more harm than good. Then again, when it comes to Sarah Palin, I personally believe that she benefits the most from those who love to hate her. She seems to be an opinionated opportunist, and those who love to hate her provide the attention she needs to be a celebrity. Obviously, remaining within the status quo of the republican party did not benefit Sarah Palin at all, so she had to go Rogue.

Due to ego issues, people may love to hate someone else because it benefits themselves. Maybe they want to be a celebrity who gets even more attention and achieves more wealth than their enemy. It could be the need to win at any cost. Some people just like to fight and need to be right 100% of the time, but anyone who loves to hate someone will create the very thing they say they hate. Still, it’s a universal rule that what goes up must come down. It’s also true that what goes around comes back around, so in the end, kindness, compassion and respect always wins, at least eventually.

Hate is based on irrational fear, which is what Sarah Palin profits from, but most people who oppose what she says and does don’t hate her. They’ve simply lost respect for the attractive celebrity who constantly complains and has made one too many false claims, based on the irrational fear she profits from. Not unlike her colleague Glen Beck, the more she insults, condemns and disrespects her enemies, the richer she gets. That’s why I was not surprised when Sarah Palin quit her position as Governor of Alaska to became a contributor for FOX news, who pay their people to make Americans afraid and eventually hate those who do not benefit FOX news. The more people they convince to hate the president of the United States and other freely elected liberal officials, the more it benefits FOX news and those who contribute to the doom and gloom, which includes but is not excluded to Sarah Palin.

Of course, she is not alone and she’s certainly not the first to create the fear based hate that snowballs all over the place. People who love to hate her do that too, because you see, what we resist will persist. That’s why someone came up with the phrase, "McCarthyism." Because of many
