If you can wake up after a good night sleep
Can't you take birth after a good long life?
While sleep is death for a brief period of time
Death is sleep for a long period of time.
So say Hindu saints for whom soul is eternal
It's just the body that perishes in the funeral;
The soul is left with with samskaras and vasanas
The former is impressions, the later, latent desires.
Tills samskaras are erased and vasanas satiated
The soul needs re-birth, life in world reinitiated.
Going in circles, not knowing the root cause
The soul goes on, till a search within causes a pause.
Waking up at last to the hopelessness of it all
In the endless search in the ever delusive mall
The soul longs for uniting with Truth
Breaking the thread of life after death.

Poetry: Life after death
Under a rainbow and next to a tree
This is the perfect place for me
My time on Earth has now come to an end
Time to round
One cannot bank on duration of life
We do not have control
Yet, one thing we can be sure thereof
Is the destiny of our souls
by Emma Jean
I stood upon the shore, and I
Saw seagulls in their flight.
Lengths of time stretched far and wide,
As darkness faded into
I float through the air with the greatest of ease
soaring above mountains like the mighty eagle
I run through the forest at
Devotion
we were lifting the plyboards we put down-
to keep the dump from destroying the grass
when we back it over
