When little children walk with parents
Parents want to hold their hands
Lest the children topple or tumble
In gazing around with blabber and mumble.
If children are holding parents hands
They may slip and fall in sands;
If parents are holding children’s hands
Walk is safe, rock or sands.
If we hold on to God’s hand
With or without trusting His grand
We may tumble slip or fall.
It is we to blame on what befall.
As we trust and surrender to God
Out of love on our heartfelt call
If it’s God that holds our hand
We can walk carefree and grand!
(Based on the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna)

Poetry: In God's hands
by Kathy Ballew
Why don’t you say, you’ve had a bad day
When it’s true, that you often do?
Why can’t you tell, you’re
I could fret and worry just about every day
But instead I choose just to kneel down and pray
I could let my anger build
by April Self
The hands that shaped the world's creation,
the giver of my writing inspiration.
His strong fingers that soothe a worried
In God's hand my life is held,
With every breath that I take.
From the very start of day,
When I begin to awake.
I know
by Tammy A
I stand before you, Lord
In Your presence I should feel shame
Knowing I fall short of your glory
That I have strayed too far
