With the winter season almost upon us, now is the time to begin prepping you tresses for its’ damaging onslaught!   Between the bitter cold air, hot dry heat and continuous product overload; “hell has no fury like a head of hair scorned.”   Thankfully there’s a wide range of haircare products on the market today that can help to tame the most stubborn mane.  However with so many different types of hair products to choose from, finding the most effective formulas to use from season to season can be a tedious task!  One of my favorite haircare product lines that I use to help promote healthy hair growth, while maintaining manageability all year round is

Ojon.   

When Denis Simioni, Co-founder of the Ojon Corporation (fondly referred to as the “Indiana Jones of haircare”) first introduced the “wildcrafted beauty” of Ojon oil to the world, he brought the Mosquitia Tawira tribe’s secret of ultimate haircare to light.  Each Ojon haircare product offers a specific formulation that is gentle enough to use for every hair type imaginable.  All of their products are gentle to the hair and scalp and also have a very pleasant scent.  One of their most popular lines is their Intensive Repair.  These products are great for chemically treated or damaged hair.  This entire line is especially formulated to help prevent split ends and provide hydration; while creating flexibility, manageability and shine.  I find this treatment to be most beneficial for my thick, curly hair; especially during the long winter season!

Depending upon the treatment, prices for each product or hair kit can range from $22-$55.  However considering the noticeable improvement in the texture and condition of my hair (especially during the cold winter months), I personally find the cost to be well worth it!
