Many people may look at the fantasy genre and think that it is for the sword wielding lord of the rings loving way out their people. The truth is that Fantasy is birth from our legends. Tales of warriors from ancient past that embark on great epic quest. It draws from the very core of our being. We feel the pain Rand A Thor from Robert Jordans wheel of time. Get caught up in the moment when Sam carries Frodo to mount doom. Weep when Aslan is slain in the lion ,witch and wardrobe.

The stories are able to engross us to read page after page wanting more. Almost becoming part of the world these masters of fiction give us a glimpse of. It also takes us from the horrors of our socity to a place where we can imagine peace and rest from the storm. Fantasy is the must read list for the would be hero who is searching for his true heart.
