One never knows what sad eyes hide
maybe, a person living a repulsive lie.
A person with an unforgettable

The pain in my heart sends a sharp sting up and down my spine

My mind wonders what have I done to deserve this?

My eyes

Her precious smile, hiding from the lies,

Sadness in her escaped sighs,

Her quirky laugh a bit too forced,

I notice that

Your beautiful eyes, they tell so much
Like the gift of hands, that describe by touch

The eyes they are a wondrous way
Of telling

Sadness surrounds me

as I try to envision

being good enough
