I am a woman
From the warmth of my breast
To the softness of my thick brown thighs
Courage to live by our own standards
Tender and caring to a heart in pain
I am a woman
From the rollers in my head
To the screaming kids I pushed out of me
Fighting everyday to stay sane
Controlling my urges to pick up that bottle of wine
I am a woman
From the tears running down my cheek
To the brick I'll throw through the window of the chick you left me for last week
Loading the 45 that I keep under the drivers seat
Attempting to catch a case by unloading on your sorry ass, but still I say...
I am a woman
Way too strong and smart to lower myself to such crime
From the kids I had
To the home I keep
Lord let me lay my head, because tonight I sleep.
