I used to know her
The sweet loving whispers
The comforting hugs
Sharing secrets in the moonlight
Talks of the future
Laughing about life
Then the lies started rolling off her tongue
Like sweat from my brow

Was this a lie too?
I can't tell
The nighttime secrets
Were these lies too?
Trust forever broken.
I thought I knew her.
