While 3D television is not exactly a widely used technology as yet, it has become more common over recent years and is likely to become more popular in future years. There are a number of manufacturers that produce 3D television sets these days and Panasonic, Toshiba, Samsung and Sony are companies that have introduced 3D technology to some of their higher end television models. Typically, to watch 3D television a special pair of 3D glasses is required and if you want to buy a pair of these there are a few locations where they can be found for sale with the following being a few of these.
Best Buy
Best Buy is an in-store location that has a range of 3D Glasses which are designed for some of the 3D televisions on the market. They have options available for Samsung, LG, Sharp and Sony 3D flat panel televisions. These are typically battery operated 3D glasses with the cost for the various models on offer ranging from around $130 for a pair of LG 3D glasses to around $150 for Samsung battery operated 3D glasses. If you have a particular brand of 3D television in mind, Best Buy can be a good place to shop for both the 3D television of your choice and a pair of 3D glasses that is compatible with these.
Comp USA
Comp USA has a wide range of 3D glasses with most being set up for a particular 3D television manufacturer. Some of the brand name 3D glasses they have available include LG, Samsung, Sony and also Xpand. Costs for these range from just over $100 up to $150 with Comp USA having both in-store locations and online operations where the 3D glasses can be found for sale.
American Paper Optics
American Paper Optics is an online retailer that has a wide range of different 3D glasses for sale. This includes 3D television glasses and they are capable of producing affordable paper 3D glasses or more durable plastic 3D glasses. While it is possible to buy a pair of 3D glasses from their online store they also work with a number of manufacturers in producing 3D glasses and they have manufactured glasses for a number of 3D movies and TV shows. Costs for their paper glasses can start at less than 50 cents, although their plastic glasses are a little more expensive with the ChromaDepth 3D glasses which are suitable for TV viewing costing around $6 per pair.
Rainbows Symphony
Ranbows Symphony is another manufacturer that has online retailing operations. They produce a range of styles of 3D glasses and this includes those that are suitable for watching 3D television. They produce both paper and plastic glasses with the cost of their paper glasses generally being around 40 cents and their plastic glasses costing around $10.
Manufacturers Online Store
Many of the manufacturers of 3D televisions have their own online stores and these can be good places to look for 3D glasses suitable for their 3D TV models. Samsung for example have a few different styles of 3D active glasses available at their online store. These are suitable for both kids and adults, range in cost from $150 to $200 and are designed for use with Sony 3D entertainment. Other 3D television manufacturers have similar online operations and it can be worth having a look at these to see the offers they have on 3D glasses.
Whether you are a consumer looking for a pair of 3D glasses for 3D TV or a movie maker looking for an affordable pair of 3D glasses that can be distributed with a DVD or Blu-Ray disc there are options available. The retailers shown above are some of the places which have 3D glasses available for sale and these are some of the best options to check out for those looking for 3D glasses.
