Everything I needed has been found in Him

To my cries He heeded, and lifted my chin

In my poignant sorrow He entered my world

He changed my tomorrows with His love unfurled

People come into our lives, and others go

They aren't always there for us, this we know

Sometimes they die, change or betray

But God is always there for us, everyday

I see my own reflection in His loving eyes

His compassionate affection has been my prize

For thirty plus years He's been my best friend

With every need He meets, His love transcends

He's been my rock, my song, my everything

He's the light in the dark that makes hearts sing

He sticks closer than a brother, we can call on Him

He blossoms every life when we let Him in

Knowing God, better than riches or fame

No other relationship can claim the same

No other joy can match Christ's love

He's the King of Kings and He's more than enough!
