Tiny fists reach awkwardly into the air.
I watch from a distance
With love, in awe.
I know you, my precious grandson.
I have been waiting, watching.
I can stand like granite
To support, encourage, strengthen, forever.
The granite softens as I take you in my arms.
My life will never be the same.
