Louisville, Kentucky has several restaurants serving Thanksgiving dinner each year. Some have a casual setting, whereas others have a more elegant appeal to them. Regardless, most places do require a reservation especially on Thanksgiving. It is good to plan ahead and reserve your table early.
Captain’s Quarters Riverside Grille
Located only twenty minutes from Louisville along the Ohio River, at 5700 Captain’s Quarters Road in Harrods Creek, Captain’s Quarters Riverside Grille is having a special Thanksgiving buffet on Thanksgiving. There is always a variety of salads, main dishes, and side dishes to choose from. Desserts are plentiful as well. Captain’s Quarters Riverside Grille is open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. For an elegant Thanksgiving, the English Grill is one of several fine dining locations which will be open Thanksgiving. Located within the Brown Hotel, the English Grill’s chef will be serving a 3-course Thanksgiving meal. The cost of this exquisite meal is $59.00 a person with a buffet option for the children for half the price. Reservations are required at the English Grill. Thanksgiving reservation times are 12:30 pm, 12:45 pm, 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm, 3:45 pm and 4:00 pm. To make a reservation for one of these selected times, call (502) 736-2996.
For a more relaxed dining experience at the Brown Hotel, J. Graham’s Café offers a buffet style Thanksgiving meal. It’s also not as pricey as the English Grill. Adults are only $34.00, children 5 to 12 years old are only $17.00, and children ages 4 and younger are free. Keep in mind that for six or more people an 18% gratuity charge is added to your bill. J. Graham’s Cafe still requires a reservation during specific seating times. Reservations can be made via telephone at (502) 583-1294 extension 7225.
With a name like Turkey Joe’s, it is no surprise that this restaurant is a hot spot for Thanksgiving. They are located at 2809 N. Hurstbourne Parkway and do not require reservations.
