Winter is a majestic season filled with magnificence and splendour. It's no wonder you've decided to have your wedding during the winter and want perfect wedding favours to accompany your winter theme. Whether it's a winter wonderland, a holiday extravaganza or just hot chocolate on a cold day, there are plenty of favours for you to choose from.
Why not use some of the symbols of the season to help you pick out wedding favours? Many online stores that sell wedding favours have an abundance of items with snowflakes. You can purchase pens with snowflakes, cookie cutters, coasters, tea light holders, etc. There is never a shortage of things with snowflakes. And the best part is, with countless items to choose from, you should be able to find one that suits your budget. But don't feel restricted to snowflakes, there are plenty of other seasonal symbols to choose from!
If you're looking for something a little more practical for your guests than a cookie cutter or coaster why not get them something to keep them warm. Mittens, hats or scarves or a great way to help guests stay warm. Many of these items can be found at dollar stores as well. This is especially good if guests are coming from far away or are staying somewhere while attending the wedding. Help your guests to feel comfortable and warm with winter attire.
Dressing your guests not exactly what you were thinking of for a favour? Why not give your guest a warm treat to take home. Many on line companies allow you to purchase packages of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappuccino, or cocktail mix and customize them with your names and the date of your wedding. If you're price conscious, this is an affordable favour for your guests. Tea is the cheapest of the above options but by less than a dollar so they're all great treats.
Perhaps your guests would prefer something sweet rather than something warm to drink. Why not get personalized chocolate bars or candy jars? M and M now allows you to personalize their treats through their "My M and Ms" which allows you to pick the colour, message/image and the packaging. Better yet, why not couple something sweet with something to drink. Your guests will love it!
Still looking for more ideas? What about shot glasses, wine glasses or glass mugs? All of these items can be engraved and personalized and used for years to come by your guests. If these are a bit too pricey for you, why not consider giving them to special guests or just the wedding party?
Why not something traditional like candles, mint tins, match books, or picture frames? The possibilities are endless and guests will be happy either way.
If you're really looking to embrace the winter season, you could incorporate the Christmas holiday. Why not give guests snow globes or ornaments for their Christmas tree? Perhaps rather than having favours, you could do a secret Santa with all of your guests so that everyone receives a special treat? What about gingerbread cookies or sugar cookies? Christmas brings an entirely new set of favours with it.
The possibilities are endless for favours at a winter wedding. Don't feel restricted by the season but also don't be afraid to embrace it, it brings with it many comforting and cozy opportunities!
