Many people considered being a Christian is a private affair; you should keep it only to yourself and your family. Is that really Christianity? Let us study the apostles to have an understanding of how we should conduct ourselves. The first four books of the New Testament are called the Gospel, which means good news. During the Gospel talks about how Jesus start and preached the Good News to the world. When He met the Samaritan woman, and addressed her emotional issues, she immediately went to share it with the rest of her village. In the end, most of the village believes in Jesus.
Almost all of the Apostles except for John were martyred. Why? Just because, they boldly preached the about Jesus, made many converters. Fear of a revolution against the Roman Empire, the Caesar decided to ban Christianity, and anyone caught will be punishable by death. Did they stop? No... All the apostles continued to risk their lives, to get the Word out. Because they simply saw, Jesus rose from the dead. They transformed from people hiding to people boldly preaching the gospel. Even till death, the continued to chant Father please forgive them for they don't know what they do'.
What is stopping you today? Christianity's forefathers has paid with their blood to get the Word out so that we have a chance to hear about it. What are you doing? Has fear grip you so tight that you are even ashamed to tell a story about Jesus? Stop giving excuses. I know there are many religions. Even one has a right to have their beliefs. They also have to right to chose after hear the good news.
Imagine, you found a well that contains youth potion and there are enough potions for the whole world. Are you going to be selfish and keep it to yourself? On the other hand, are you going to tell people about it? It is never going dry; the whole world can tap into this well. Not everyone wants to remain young all the time. However, they have a right to choose. By not sharing with them, we have in fact decided for them, that they do not need God. Is it fair? What is stopping us? Are we too afraid to be Christian anymore?
