At one point in time, I’m sure it did,
But as I got older, that love began to slide
Instead of hearing “I love you” everyday,
Those words turn into “You’re lazy, get out of my house!”
Despite the things that I’ve done, I wonder what’s my purpose in life
Because our “love” isn’t love, it’s the love that was built on strife
