Poetry: Thanksgiving

by JT Till

Created on: November 15, 2010

                                    Thanksgiving Poetry

Winds of change blow colored leaves on a frosty mornings dew,
The trees lie bare, a chill in the air, and our spirits shall renew.

The smells of food upon the hearth do tantalize our tastes,
The smiling faces, the warm embraces, and grievances erased.

Come one come all on this joyous day give thanks for all your blessings,
Enjoy the meal, let your spirits reveal, all the love in your hearts that you’re stressing.
