I live and fly on the wings of hope!

For hope is mine in hopeless scope

The reason why is easy and clear

Jesus Christ is with me here

He fills the emptiness within

He relieves the burdens of all our sin

He forgives, comforts, disciplines

Gives joy and peace in the interim

If we look for hope in God, it's wise

We'll not be given an empty demise

Jesus, He is where all true hope lies

Emanating from His loving eyes

Unlike false hope or hoping in nothing

Reliance on God is rock solid something

For He has always made trusting hearts sing

No other can match the joy He brings

The true and surest hope is mine

His hope is real - of the purest kind

If we look for Him, then hope we'll find

Rock solid hope of the truest kind

I will always hope because of Him

For He restored it to me again
