I tried to wait patiently,
I tried to listen attentively,
I tried to love genuinely,
I tried to forgive heartily.
I tried to tolerate your promiscuity.
I tried to stick with you in highs and lows.
I tried to make the relationship work.
I am afraid to let you know,
That our love has reached the point of no return.
It is beyond repair, It is time to part ways.
I tried with an open heart to make our love tick.
I have come to realise that oil and water can't mix.
I have come to realise that doves and owls can't flock together.
Guess what! our love has reached the point of no return.
I am gone, cheerio.
