Poetry: I love you

by James Lyons

Created on: November 10, 2010

TITLE: BEGINNING TO SEE

When sensations past

Just defy understanding

And feelings renewed

Fill the void found within

I dream of the day

When my life leaves impressions lasting

When children and friends

See the man who began

If these wonders of life

Scream out "Join in, see what you're missing"

But monotony and fear

Drive me further, deeper instead

Lost within

It is you that I find peace and joy remanding

And the beauty of you

Seems to calm and awake the dead

You have made me recall

Who I am and what I deserve

If you only could know

Depth and breadth of what I've become

Since you entered my life

Chance be damned, I am now the man

That He planned from the start

Thank you God, now I see the plan.
