Suffering..
My wife got sick,
Four years ago,
It was her brain that got attacked,
and my soul pains for her.
She can't make new memories
but remembers the long ago.
Can't remember our lunch,
but knows where our first date was.
She'll never remember the sun setting over water,
or our last fight...
One thing hasn't changed-
my love for her...

It's like static on the radio,
this constant white noise keeps me awake,
there's no switch to turn it off,
I feel my past behind me, clawing at my spine
but when I turn to face my foe, I see a narrow line
