Poetry: Ups & downs

Silly love for silly life

Hey there heart, you got trapped in the moment and the thrill. The train watched two lover’s wrap around another, sit and believe. (cat got your tongue, faith?) I’m a silly boy with eyes wide on you, you tap me on my shoulder as I walk alone brushing off the focus and snapping at moments like a piranha doused in constant need. The crash of distortion is a smash to the potential stomach, bring me your worst and I’ll bask in all that rough beauty untouched in dingy rooms and dusty pasts. Step up to the world with a bravery mixed in naive cause this path is a fireman’s worst nightmare. (we ain’t slowing these dreams so stop us if dare, we’ll only laugh you away to the serious side of things)
