the poll by BBC shows that anti-American sentiment is growing around the world. it did not surprise me and i think this trend will grow to be a larger movement id years to come. this because:
# USA is increasing acting as a hostile nation willing to attack any country which does not confirm to its views and is seemed to be working against the American interest. case and point iraq. we all know that the weapons of mass destruction and the ore war intelligence reports were all sham. but the country is still in war with iraq. people see this and form a negative view of america.
#also, US politicians are not informed about minorities and different cultures and religions around the world. case and point the "macaca" incident where then senator allen called an indian-american man "macaca", which is a terms used to define a certain breed of monkeys. this shows people around the world that americans not that accepting after all, in turn you have negative imgmae of the country
one can go on and on about mistake america is making which is fueling the rise in anti-american sentiments around the world.it is high time that americans take a look around the world and try to work on this very big image issue.
